What happens if I have to take an antibiotic before stims?

I think I may be getting strep.  It is going around school.  I am doing micro-flare and I'm on BCP right now.  If I have to take antibiotics will it mess everything up.  I am supposed to stop BCP 11/14 and start Lurpon 11/18 and stims 11/19.  If I am sick will it screw everything up? 

I'm praying it is just a sore throat from a cold I had last week and going out Friday night.  If it is still sore tomorrow I will call my Dr. but I am just worrying about it.

Any insight is appreciated!

    J and I just did our required simultaneous round of antibiotics last week, so I really don't think it would mess anything up.

    GL and I hope you aren't getting sick! I am just getting through a wicked head cold myself and I start lupron tomorrow.

    Dx: DH - Azoo, Me - Mild PCOS
    DH - sperm found! Seems to produce only for a few days every 70 days!
    Over 1 million in cryo in 15 vials over 6 samples
    IVF #1 - 1 beautiful expanded blast transferred, 4 snowbabies - beta #1 11/30/11 = BFFN
    FET #1, transfered 2 embies 2/16/12 = BFFN; 1 snowbaby left in cryo
    IVF #2 + CGH = 4 genetically normal embies on ice. FET September 26th

    I had a nightmare UTI just before starting Lupron. I was on Augmentin for 7 days, some of which overlapped with my Lupron days. The nurse said it was no problem! Sorry you are feeling ill!

    I just finished with a z-pack.  I started Lupron today.  My RE's office said it wasn't a problem and to do what ever I needed to do to feel better.  They weren't worried about me taking medication before I did my Lupron.  I would just make sure they are aware of what you are taking and when.
