Where do you get nice maternity work clothes?

I'm stumped...it's all either way too casual or way out of my price range!!  Just checked our local Kohl's and Target; two strikeouts there.  Where can I find decently priced shirts and slacks and whatnot?  I didn't really have to buy much of anything before with DD; borrowed an entire wardrobe from a lawyer friend my size and the work I was doing at the time was way more laid-back than this new job looks to be.  Thanks!

I suggest checking at Motherhood Maternity and JC Penney. Also, consignment shops often carry maternity clothes, and I know Atlanta has some pretty high end shops. You may luck out there.

I was just at JCPenney here today.  They are having $10 off any $25 purchase, nationwide this weekend I believe.  They had a nice mix of casual and nice shirts, jeans and nice pants.

I would try GAP. If you sign up for their email alerts there tends to be some pretty awesome discounts every week (average 30-40% off purchase).

Just got some great deals at JC Penney's today - some nice basic sweaters and dress pants on sale and spring stuff on clearance. (get a coupon!)

I got a few nice work pieces last time at Ann Taylor Loft.  They only sell their stuff online now though. They also have a bunch of coupons often.

The Gap is good as is Destination Maternity. They have a really great selection of all price ranges.  They carry Pea in the Pod clothing as well as Motherhood Maternity.

Echoing other responses, definitely JC Penny.  I have stuff from my first pg from there, was the nicest and most cost effective work clothes I could find.

Thanks everyone!  Lucky me, there's a JC Penney's right around the corner...just gotta get a paycheck or two under my belt and then I can go do some damage!

OH, and FYI, not every JC Penny store has a maternity section.  I learned this the hard way...pg woman wandering around the store, LOL.  But once I found a location that had maternity section, that was my go-to place!
