I have been thinking about buying one for LO. Right now we have a highchair, that can be a pain to strap her into, and a RNP, that she is getting too big for. I thought a Bumbo would be a good next step and they seem like a cool company.
Expect I cannot get consistent information from retailers about the weight limit! One place said 30 pounds, which would be fine, but another said 22. LO is already 20 pounds (I know), so that would not work at all.
Help me, Bumbo owners! What does the package/insert say?

My baby has super chunk thighs. Like, nurses on them and clothes don't fit right, ha ha. They are super cute, but maybe the Bumbo is not for her!
I wish I knew someone by me who had one so I could try it out... but if the package says 22 lbs, I think we'll have to just skip it.
Edited to make sense. I am sleepy.
I checked BRU for similiar seats and the Mamas & Papas Baby Snug says Stage 2 of the seat can be used at approximately 12 months. So that one doesn't look like there is a weight limit. I also couldn't find a weight limit for the Prince Lionheart bebePOD Flex.
I don't know the weight limit, but I will say that my 17ish pounder's chunky thighs get stuck in the leg slats when I lift her out of it. So, I don't think the Bumbo will be a long-term thing for us.
Hey, thanks! I saw the Lionheart one; I think we might get that. On their website you can actually see the insert and there was no weight limit.
The family I nannied for bought a Bumbo for DD and didn't like it so they bought the bebePOD and loved it! I totally forgot about this when I was registering and we got a Bumbo. It stays at my parents house, my mom watches DS 3 days a week, and they don't use it often. But, I wish I would've remembered and got the bebePOD!
When I was looking at seats, I remember seeing some complaints from people who said their LO's thighs were too big to fit in the Bumbo. But many of them liked the Prince Lionheart Bebepod, which is similar. You might look at those instead?
Lionheart it is! Thanks everyone!
Plus, cute, right?
Yay! So cute!
