I'm not sure how many people here read My OB Said What?!?, but to summarize it's a website dedicated to putting out some of the most ridiculous things birth professionals say regarding TTC, pregnancy and birth. I enjoy (most of) the commenting community and seeing I'm not alone in caring about some of this stuff, and sometimes it will bring up questions I hadn't even been aware existed (e.g. alternates to the glucose screening test, etc.).
And right now, they're starting to run low on submissions!
So if you've ever had a doctor, midwife, doula, nurse, or any other such professional say something absolutely ridiculous to you about your care, think about sending it over their way! You can help educate the next round of women thinking about NCB and make lots of others laugh.
They also do "Thoughtful Thursdays," where they highlight some amazing care providers, so if you've had a birth professional say something especially great to you in the past, you can send that over, too.
Just thought I'd point it out here, since it tends to be a more natural-birth-friendly website, but it's really a choices-in-childbirth website and women have also gotten support from doctors refusing to give them epidurals for no reason and the like.
(Note: I am in no way affiliated with MOBSW?!?, it just amuses me so I thought I'd pass the call for submissions on)
Re: MOBSW needs submissions!
lord knows i've heard a bunch of gems. just submitted some!
