Expired ovulation test strips?

Hey Ladies!

It's been a very long time since I've been on these boards and even longer since DH and I have TTC so I feel like I've forgotten everything (except the basics of course!)

I just found a ton of LH Ovulation test strips but they all expired 01/2010.  Since they've been expired for nearly 2 years, is there any chance they'll be accurate or should I just get new ones?

    I would get new ones, I would never trust expired anything IMHO.

    If it were me, I'd still use 'em.  I'm a firm believer that most expiration dates (except for milk and the like) are nonsense.  They're just to keep themselves from getting sued in case they're no longer accurate.

    I think you'd find out pretty quick if they weren't working. (I'd bet on it that they'd still work perfectly)

    On the other hand, if you get cheap ones, they're so cheap that you may as well just get new ones.
