2nd hand clothes stores?

Anybody know of any good 2nd hand clothes stores in the area for infants?  

what is the price range? are they worth it?

    try consignment sales, craigslist, too. Also, sign up for your local freecycle group (freecycle.org)

      

  • I've heard good things about Once Upon a Child--there's one in Manassas.

    Also, Dani's Duds comes around three times a year. They just had one in October, held at the old Shoppers store in Chantilly. I thought it was really reasonable.

  • Unique Thrift Stores tend to have a very good selection of infant and kids clothes. Most items run $1-$3.

  • I've never been, but have heard good things about Wiggle Room in Bethesda.

  • Most of the Mothers of Multiples groups are having their fall sales now (they might all be over, though, I'm not sure). They can be hit or miss, but I've gotten some great deals there. I've also heard of something called Tot Swap (I think), but I've never been.
