Have you taken R to the Home Depot thing on the first Sat of the month?  Are they too young?  I'm off tomorrow and was thinking about going.

    I have not taken him yet. Dh brought home a race car project a few months ago but I told him it was his to do with him. I don't think R would do much of it, dh would be doing most of it I bet. IDK, maybe I don't give the kiddo enough credit.

    They say it is for 5-12 yrs, but this month it's a Veterans Day Frame so I suppose it would be easy.

    If you go, let me know how she did!

    ::Butting in::  The first time DH took G, he was about 2.5 and while DH did do most of the work, G loved it and still plays with the boat they made that day and tells everyone he made it with Daddy.  He's made a birdhouse, binoculars, trains...

    We couldn't even succesfully make the halloween cat at the Garden Factory this year before she lost interest.  Soooo, I think I will wait.   I was telling DH about it and he said in another year or so he would take her.  Maybe it could be something fun they do together.

    Hmmmm now what to do to kill time?
