I just had an u/s and Dr appt and everything is looking good. Our boys are measuring at 24 weeks growing together in harmony. When my Dr measured my belly, she said "if you were having one baby, you would be full term." Is this common to be this big already??

Re: Belly measuring full term for a singleton at 24 weeks with twins..anyone else??

I agree that seems extreme. They don't have any extra fluid or anything do they? Both of my babies have double the fluid they should have, and I'm only measuring 5 weeks ahead of a singleton.

I measured 10 weeks ahead for the majority of my pregnancy. Not beyond the realm of possibility.
I had that too, with different measurements from different drs. Though I guess if the babies shift so they're more side to side (which doesn't get "captured" by a fundal height measurement) then maybe?
I switched practices at 31w and my second OB didn't even bother measuring fundal height since he said you get all the info you need from the u/s. It does sound extreme but I wonder if your dr was exaggerating a little. Measuring 6-10 weeks ahead seems pretty common ... though at 23w I was measuring 5w ahead and started measuring 8w ahead closer to the third tri.
