I just heard that she was undergoing fertility treatments when she was shot earlier this year. It must be in her new book. I just can't imagine what she's been through, I wonder if they'll keep trying. She says she is returning to Congress, so I hope she gets to be a mom too.

Oh my goodness, I can't even imagine. I really hope she will be a mommy. It would be the best happy ending to this tragedy.

I hope they can make their dream of children true some day. My next thought is it would be great if she could make fertility treatment coverage one of her platforms in congress so that more could be done for all couples and women struggling with this issue (i.e. mandated coverage, etc).

That's a great point. Do you follow the current legislation through Resolve? I can only assume she's a supporter (though she's been out recovering all yr.) since she's a progressive. I know her best friend Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is a vocal supporter of mandated coverage.
