I purchased a pair of jeans, 3 pair of panties and 2 tops from Motherhood Maternity about a month ago and every single thing already has a hole or is frayed. I don't wear normal clothes much (I wear scrubs every day to work) but need some non-scrub stuff too.
I've looked at Target and JC Penney but haven't seen anything I like. I did order some stuff from JCP online but haven't received it yet.
I'm getting desperate because very few on my normal clothes fit anymore.
Please help! Thank you!
Re: where do you get your maternity clothes?
I LIVED in these dresses from Targ et - https://www.target.com/s?searchTerm=mossimo+dress&category=0%7CAll%7Cmatchallany%7Call+categories
They aren't maternity, but they were perfect. So comfy, and you can "grow" into them with a big belly. Since it's getting colder you could wear a cardi and some leggings with them.
I had a few maternity pieces from Motherhood as well, but most of them started falling apart like you said. Otherwise, it was Old Navy fold down yoga pants with a XXL hoodie from Target. Which I still wear.
I also puffy heart old navy (wish it was still in stores).
there is pea in the pod at some malls, also there is a section in macy's and I think some of the other major department stores.
I've actually had great luck with my motherhood stuff, I'm wearing what I wore from my 1st again.
I've bought off of ebay also.
Shockingly, my link didn't work, but they are -- Mossimo Junior Kimono Sleve Dress. I have 7 colors (2 black). try this link: https://www.target.com/p/Mossimo-Supply-Co-Juniors-Kimono-Dress-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13522789?reco=Rec_pdp_13522789_SolrRecentSearchToPurchase_Adjacency
I have had the same problem with the pair I have! They seemed to fit well in the store but I'm constantly pulling them up!
Thanks ladies for all the input! I didn't realize ON and GAP had maternity clothes!
Most Old Navy's don't. The Gateway location said Barton Creek stocked maternity, but when I got there they said Bee Caves is the only store that does, grrr. This was ~2 years ago though, so maybe it's since changed.
I've been getting most of mine from gap (but only on sale... they keep running 30-40% off codes), and AT Loft (same thing - I've been getting them 50% off).
I do like the long sleeve ruched tops from Liz Lange/Target but I had to size up b/c the chest was too fitted for some reason. These are my go to, I wear them 2-3x per week.

Any suggestions for pants for tall ladies? Last time I couldn't find much, and luckily it was spring into summer, so I go capris and shorts. This time, that's not going to cut it.

I'm 5'9" and Gap was the only place I could find maternity pants long enough, because they come in tall length there. They had really cute trouser jeans that I think they discontinued. I didn't have any luck at any other place.
ON Bee Caves has maternity. I was just there the other day and picked up 4 things on clearance. It is slim pickins though. I was also told by a clerk at another ON that you can order online and return in the store. Online it will say "no in-store returns" but this clerk told me that they will take it anyway. The misc items I picked up at the store the other day I think were all returns that they never actually carried in the store. They do always have jeans and tanks and tees and misc other stuff like right now sweaters.
If you're willing to dig, I've had decent luck at Goodwill (mostly on pants). The Hill Country Galleria Old Navydefinitely carries maternity, although the selection is small. Even their long pants are a little short on me, though. Target stuff doesn't fit me at all.
For LONG pants (my inseam is 34" barefoot), Gap seems to fit the best. I did buy a pair of khaki skinny jeans at Forever 21 (I know, I know) that are long enough. Some of Motherhood's come in long lengths, but I just got them so I don't know how they'll hold up. A Pea in the Pod pants are long too, but I'm just not willing to spend that much.

This is exactly what I did. In fact, I would do a couple three orders and then send back in one big return, to save on return shipping.
Most of my tops were from Old Navy or Target. I did spring for expensive maternity jeans {Sevens} but I did find them cheaper by buying used online from ebay. IMO the jeans were worth the investment since they were a staple I wore every day.
I did have to wear a couple dresses while I was PG {weddings, banquets, etc.} and had great luck getting those from Due Maternity.
update!
I ordered a bunch of stuff from Old Navy and Gap and I am super pleased! I like most of what I got from ON and LOVE all the stuff from Gap.
Thanks for all the great input!
