So I am cooking dinner and DS1 is eating raisins as a snack. I here him say, "Here Aiden." I turn around to see him sharing his raisins with DS2. I run over just in time to stop him. Anyone have any ideas on how to get your little sharer to understand that he cant share food with his little brother yet? I keep telling him that DS2 doesnt have any teeth to eat but thats not working.
Re: My little sharer
I always tell DS "the baby is too little", or "its great that your sharing, just let mommy/daddy know first before you feed the baby"....which usually results in me telling him that the baby can't have X because she is too little and she can choke.
I find with DS, if he knows that he can't so something, it's what he constantly what he wants to do (what toddler doesn't!). He now asks every time if the baby can share his food. It all started when he fed her popcorn and DH found he almost choking on it. It seems to be working so far.
