Recommendations for photo books?

Ok, I'm finally about to take the plunge and upload 4 years worth of disorganized photos onto some photo website and try to emerge with a few digital photo books/scrapbooks at the end of it.  I'd love to hear any reviews pro/con re: shutterfly, snapfish, or others you've used.  Thanks!!!

  • I used shutterfly and I like it just fine.  My bff just made one in snapfish, not sre if it was as easy to use but it looked beautiful.

  • I used tinyprints and made little books of our little girl's 1st year for her grandparents last year for Christmas. I loved them!

  • I've used wal-green's, picaboo and shutterfly.  I think for the first go round, shutterfly is the easiest and most intuitive.  Plus you can google for coupon codes and always find them.  and you can combine usually % off with free shipping.  Picaboo has a ton of layouts but it was a bit time consuming going through it.  Only used snapfish for calendars and never used tiny prints. I'd probably upload a few pics to the two finalists and try making a photo book with those, just to test how it works.  FWIW, I don't like Shutterfly's automatic "we'll make a book for you" thing as i usually have ideas of layout and don't like what they do.  So you may need to try the custom path.  I also really like that you can now use a photo as the background of a page.

  • I always do mine on Shutterfly and its really easy - with their new software you can go the really easy route and have them do the whole book pretty much for you or do it more on your own.
