Parenting after 35

I have learned something about M

If he wakes up on his own, gets to play a few minutes in the crib and then calls for me, he is a happy camper.  If I wake him up, it is on like Donkey Kong.  He cries for everything, saline bottle for his nose, tv, videos on computer, taking off his pj's, putting on his clothes, getting into the car, etc.  He is a crankypants if he does not wake up on his own.

  • My M isn't usually cranky when he wakes up - whether it's on his own or with help - but he does occasionally wake up and is absolutely inconsolable for, like, 10-15 minutes.
  • I myself am the same way. If someone or something aka alarm clock wakes me up I am a grumpy pants too. Lol

  • Same thing here with E. J, however, is still a bad sleeper and he always wakes up on his own before everyone else does.
