Kid's suitcase

We were thinking of getting Ian his own little suitcase for Christmas for when we go on trips to see the ILs or if he has sleepovers with my parents or brother and SIL. Do you have one that you really like? I'd rather it not have any cartoon character so that if he grows out of that, he'll still be into using the bag.

I'd get something on wheels, bright colored and I'd do the hard top if you're looking to "invest". Justin always sits on suitcases while we're packing- I wish we had the hard cover kind.

To make it special for him at this age I'd look into cartoon character luggage tags or those bands that go around the suitcase so you can ID it.

I actually won a trunki for DD.. but that might be considered "cute".  I know Samsonite makes kids suitcases too..

I like that idea! We've only travelled in the car up until this point, but that would still be a fun idea to make it "his".

I got Justin one with his name on it...it looks cute but I HATE it.  It doesn't zip all the way around so it's such a pain getting stuff in and out.  I would definitely recommend one that zips all the way around.  I'm wondering if they're uncommon though.  I was looking at kids' suitcases in a magazine last night and they all seemed to be like the one Justin has.
