I gave notice at work. I love my job and have been there for over 5 years. But I really miss my boys and Cooper is showing some significant improvement so DH and I feel it is best if I am home more.

Right now with me working I only see the kids for maybe 2 hours a day...and that time is usually crammed with soccer practice, homework, dinner and bath.

In order to make these changes happen I have decided to get my daycare license. I am super excited for a few reasons. 1. If you know me...you know I love kids and would gladly be a Dugger if I could afford it. 2. I get to partake in the home daycare business with my kids current daycare provider. She is amazing and happy to be coming to my home each day so there are extra hands, eyes and hugs to go around.

I am also a bit scared because I have never "not" worked except for maternity leave. So needless to say I will be coming to you SAHM's for advice and conversation hopefully more often that I already do.

Oh my gosh!!! That is so exciting. Congratulations on the new adventure. And its so great that you can go into partnership with your current DCP.  I also would gladly become a Duggar if we could afford it too!

Congratulations! I have friends who have left teaching to do this, and loved that it gave them the opportunity to be home. Yipppeee for you!
