LOL. That reminds me- I got sea monkeys for Christmas when I was 10 or 11 and just a few minutes after they hatched, my cousin came into the room and knocked over their tank. They lives a very short life.
I keep teasing my sis that she only got Claire sea monkeys to make up for her own experience. She had them when she was eight (I was ten, youngest sister six) and kept them on the kitchen table. One night, youngest sister knocked the tank over on her plate. She loves to tell everyone that our parents made her finish her plate, therefore forcing her to consume her own pets. It's one of those stories that comes out every Christmas.

Is it weird that I've always wanted to have Sea Monkies? I never got them as a kid. The closest thing I ever had was those capsules that expanded into little sponges when they got wet.
