Hi Ladies! We are hoping/trying/praying for a July '12 baby - July 22nd to be exact 
Just wondering how early you all were able to get your BFPs and what type of test did you use? I seriously don't think I can wait another week to test (which would still be 5 days early...) Thanks!!

IMO, you should wait a bit longer, You may get a negative and really be pregnant which will bum you out. Or you may get a negative and not be pregnant but continually wonder if it was wrong and will actually say "positive" next week. I'd be shocked if you got a positive result 12 days early.
If you buy a test, it will include percentages of accuracy based on the day you test. The closer to the first day of your cyle that you take it, the more accurate it will be.
I tested on the day I was supposed to get my period. My cycle has been extremely regular, so when it didn't start by that afternoon, I knew it was time!
I'm sure some of the other girls have tested earlier, though...
I used First Response and got a very faint BFP 10 dpo. I retested yesterday at 12 dpo and got a much more visible BFP.

This exactly. My 8 dpo line was so so light, but by 10 dpo, even DH had to agree it was positive.
DH: 31, normal!
April/May 2011: Menopur + Ovidrel +TI = BFN
Oct 2011: Menopur + Hcg +IUI = BFP!
Beta #1 (13dpiui)= 129.7, Beta #2 (15 dpiui)= 305

the day I was supposed to get it. I would wait a week if I were you. You cant test all the time (unless you spend a bunch on tests) and you want an accurate result. Good luck!

14dpo- positive
I used a 10 miu test from Early-Pregnancy-Tests.com, and got a positive at 10 dpo/5 days before AF was expected (although it was extremely faint). I started testing with those same tests at 7 dpo, and each day after, and they were all negative until 10 dpo.
ETA: If you're still 12 days before you expect AF, don't test. You WILL NOT get a BFP now. It's far too early for the egg to have implanted (that usually happens closer to 3-6 days before your missed AF, and even then you'll need to wait a day or more to have enough hCG in your urine for the HPT to pick it up).

I tested at 16 DPO. (I have the patience of a saint). Well, I'm not 100% sure that I was 16DPO since I didn't temp, but I did take OPKs.
AF was due the day before when I tested for the first time. I used an internet cheapie first and then used a first response. All positive since I started.

I tested at 11 DPO (f-ing shaking the whole time!) but with zero expectations. The line was soooo faint but it showed up after like 20 seconds. I planned on waiting a couple days, but that damn stick was calling my name the next day too! At 12 DPO the two lines appeared immediately and just got darker and darker.
Bottom line: POAS, just don't expect a clear (or positive) result right away. GL!

i used the cheapie bulk test strips from amazon the day af was due. giant bright pink lines.
had no symptoms before hand that differer from af other than stronger cramping.

8 dpo with fmu internet cheapie faint line, I thought maybe I was crazy
8 dpo about 3 hours later at work I couldn't stand it so I ran out and bought an Answer test and got a significantly darker line
