Got my IVF schedule today

I went in for repeat screening b/w because my last set was done almost a year ago already.  DH goes in for his tomorrow.  Then the nurse gave me a print out of my meds schedule.  I take my last bc pill on 11/28 and if all goes according to plan my retrieval will be December 12th and the pg test b/w will be 2 weeks from the retrieval date which just happens to be the day after Christmas.  I'm excited to have a definite plan but I'm also scared to death.  I know how draining this process is both emotionally and physically and I'm terrified of taking it all on for a second time and once again it not working. 

I naively thought IVF was almost a guarantee for us and I don't know why.  The last time I just let myself believe this was it for us and we would get our take home baby.  Now that I know from experience that it may not work it's just scary.  I'm trying to just take it one day at a time and be as hopeful as I can but if this fails again I'm  not sure how exactly I'm going to handle a 5th loss.

 Sorry if I sound like a complete pessimistic debbie downer.  It's just all kind of hitting me today.

Good luck hun!  I really hope this is it, at least the ball is rolling.  And it's ok that you are negative nancy today, it happens.  Being optimistic is tiring, and eventually not possible 24/7 after a while.

Good luck! I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope that this is it for you and I'll be praying!  I'll be starting IVF in January and I'm totally freaked out as well!

Best of luck sweetie.  I so, so hope that this is it for you!!  I know sometimes it's hard to be positive, but I know that being negative isn't going to make me feel any less hurt if things don't work out.  KWIM?   Sometimes, I try to trick myself into thinking I can be detached, but it never works for me, I am always upset anyway.  So you might as well try to think positive thoughts that this will work.  It will certainly make you feel better right now.  I HOPE this is it for you!!

Thanks hun.  I try so hard to be hopeful but some days are harder then others.  Unfortunately the carefree naiveness of pregnancy is gone for all of us and we know how possible it is for things to not work out they way they should!

Thanks love.  I know that all I can do is try and stay positive and hopeful because thats all we have to hold on to.  Some days are just tougher then other days.  When do you find out the results of your most recent cycle?  I have EVERYTHING crossed for you girly!!
