I am wondering if I am the only one who does this. I mix baby oatmeal with baby yogurt. She loves it!
btw... not sure how old your LO is, but i realized that the baby yogurt (we originally used Stonyfield organic baby food) has a lot of sugar and overpriced. since he ate it every morning we started buying full fat plain organic yogurt in the bigger tubs for less and mixed it with half a banana and oatmeal. it was cheaper, had way less sugar and saved us a little money.
DS just eats regular adult oatmeal and yoghurt. Well, we have full fat, organic, natural yoghurt with added clover honey, it's delicious!
I don't mix the two, though we used to. Now we add blueberries & orange, banana & cinnamon, grated apple & nutmeg, sultanas & vanilla, dried apricots & honey, date & orange or any other combo we feel inspired to on a morning.
Then he usually has yoghurt for a mid-afternoon snack. I often add diced fruit to that too but he also loves it plain. Another good option is mixing in some flax seed oil and ground linseed to boost their omega intake.
