help...how do you bleach something...

I've been trying for days to try to bleach my socks and bras...I tried doing it in the washing machine....no luck....i tried the bucket and bleach method..no luck

I let them soak and even added more bleach.  Why won't they come white....does anyone know a trick????

Just so you know, you can wreck your bras by bleaching them.  The chlorine messes up the fibers if they are good bras.  Don't do it too much.  They will get all saggy and wonky.
