I think I want to start a blog...

So many of you ladies do such a nice job on your blogs and it's something special that your LO can have later. I have always wanted to do it but just never could find the time to make it work. I am working a new job and I feel like I just have more structure now so I think I want to try and start one but I have zero idea how to do that.

Anyone have any pointers? I would appreciate it!

Thanks!

  • I started mine as a boring way to keep family & friends updated on my pregnancy. Somehow it grew into a place where I sometimes write about my family, divorce, and post a crapton of pictures of the girls - and am able to save several hundred a month towards the girls' college based on the blog income.

  • Where do you go to even begin?

I am completely clueless! I know it won't be anything too exciting but I want to be able to remember things! Keeton just turned one and I can't help but wish I remembered more about each and every day of the last year (or at least the general time frame).

Are there certain sites that are better than others for getting started?

I use Blogger. It's pretty easy to use. It walks you through how to set things up. It's not fancy, but it does the job.

Me too.  I just kind of ramble about whatever in mine.  i had one going awhile ago to track P's progress but honestly that seemed like a chore and I couldn't even keep up with it once a month because I just felt like it was boring.  kind of like scrapbooking, I should do it but I don't.
