Childcare - UTC/ La Jolla

Hello,

I am due in April and need to find Childcare for an infant in the UTC area around mid summer.  Do you know of a in-home or Childcare facility in the area? I found a few that take babies at 9 months old, but none for babies 3-4 months old.   Also, what is the monthly rate for childcare in San Diego?

    I wish I could offer some input here, but I am in the same boat! Savvysource.com has a fairly comprehensive listing, but you have to sift through a bunch of them to find anyone that does infant care. I live in Bird Rock and found one place so far (not too terribly far from UTC) but I haven't contacted them yet:https://www.littlesteps.org/index.cfm

    It is a Christian preschool, and we are not in any way religious, but I think it doesn't really matter for the first few years anyway.

    I can't help with a specific place, I don't live in that area, but I used the YMCA's referral service to find our child care lady & I love her!  It's a free service that allows you to search YMCA approved child care options in specific areas.  There are all kinds of criteria you can choose from (location, time, language, etc.).  The child care provider has to go through an appliction & inspection process similar to what they have to do for the state.  I felt good about them choosing to go through this 2nd process.
