Yes, but these days she is so tired when we get to the last book and turn out the light, she sighs and just closes her eyes.

DH is OOT until Sunday. We have a Halloween daycare party tomorrow night. I was hoping to make a big sister onsie to suprise DH when he came home and now I officially will NOT be making one.

1) How often do/will you go out to dinner just with dh? Rarely, only when we've had a babysitter. I could probably count all the times on one hand since M's been born.
2) Do you have family members babysit or other? If other what do you pay an hour? Family mostly, a friend once.
3) Do you worry about someone else being able to get dc to go to sleep? Yes, especially now that she's teething, it takes us forever and we know all her quirks! The first time without us was the other night when MIL was watching her. DH said he came home at 10:30 and they were sitting on the couch playing, MIL said M just wouldn't sleep.
4) What do you let your child play with but know you probably shouldn't? I honestly can't think of anything. She gnaws on her burp cloths/bibs sometimes, does that count?

So have not paid yet.

1) How often do/will you go out to dinner just with dh? Where we live there are not a ton of options for out to eat....we maybe went out once per month pre baby and its about the same now.

3) Do you worry about someone else being able to get dc to go to sleep? Yes and no....right now yes...its a chore for even us, but I am hoping its just the 4 month period and then she will be over it.

Just DH and I alone? Not too often anymore. With the baby? Maybe once a week or less. We used to go out at least 2 times a week before the baby.

So far, just my parents. I'm hoping to branch out soon though!

We havent gone out solo since norahs been here but in a few more weeks shell be able to stay with my mom and we'll try and do it once a week or at least every other week. Gotta have date night!

Yes. But, fortunately she is used to falling asleep when being rocked at daycare. So as long as they're willing to do that, she should be fine.

My cell phone. She loves it. I always get grossed out when I think of how many awful germs are probably on it.

practically never.... Maybe 5 times since Ben was born. And then we did a 3 day (2 night) trip to Vegas last month. That was the most we've done.

Friends or family. We dont' have any grandparents locally, so its hard. But I'm too lazy to figure out how to find a real babysitter. And too cheap.

Totally. Luckily Ben has always gone to bed pretty late, so we've been able to go out to an early dinner and still do bedtime ourselves. The first time anyone else put him to bed was a few months ago. And then while we were in Vegas my mom did it. But it's only in the last 6 months that he's been easier to put down.. maybe only 4 months.

cell phones, pens, lights, radios, hell, I let him playi n the front seat of the car and used to leave him there while I got stuff ready to leave, until he figured out how to open the doors. crap!
