Who's been? Is it ok for toddlers? Is there any place to camp out and let the kids run around? We're thinking about going during the day on Saturday, but I've never been so I have no idea what to expect.
Earlier in the day is better for kiddos. In the past there was a merry go round / fair games and kids love dancing around to the oompa music. Tons of food too. We are taking M on Sunday I think. (They have a discount coupon online I saw and kids under 12 are free)
Yep if you are going on a Saturday definitely go earlier in the day. It will get crazy busy in the evening. We took DD last year and we are taking her Saturday afternoon this year, too.
We go every year with my family on the second Saturday. I agree with pps, get there early. They have rides. DD was 10 months last year and was only tall enough to ride the carousel and one other ride..and she rode it several times. She also loved the music in the big hall..and all the food.
You can set up a blanket on the hill by the river and DD can run around.
Ditto all the others, although this is probably the only year I will bring DD. And that's only b/c I can't partake in the drinking of the yummy German beer pitchers that I love soooo much. ::sad face::

Here's a blog I posted about it last year.
