Update:  We are having a girl and are thrilled!  I am due on March 1st and am having a natural hospital birth with a doula.  No classes are available in our area so we are self-studying Bradley and hypnobirthing.

As for the OWT...I really started to believe a little in the heartrate and Chinese gender predictor thing after it was true for DD #1.  It also ended up being right for DD#2.  I don't really believe in them, but think that it's a fun coincidence.

We are officially doing Bradley, and I kind of thought in the first few weeks there might be something to that Chinese gender chart. I am not at the end of the pregnancy yet, but I already decided it's a load of hooey. ; )

Please think happy thoughts for me, ladies. Just found out last Friday LO is breech and my AFI is too low to try for an external version. I've managed to get it up to a 9 as of yesterday, but my OB said it needs to be at a 10+ consistently to try for a version.

I'm trying non-invasive techniques from SpinningBabies.com with no luck yet. I may try a chiropractic adjustment and acupuncture, but they have less than a 25% success rate given how far along I am and my AFI.

I'm not sure I believed any OWT.  I had mild heartburn with both pg and DS#1 came out with a full head of hair and DS#2 was completely bald...

Yay!  I would like to join please!  I'm due March 3, we're planning for a birth at a birth center.  Obviously planning for a natural birth but no real method.  And we are Team Green!

As far as old wives tales, I never really believed any of them to start with so there aren't really any that I have changed my opinion on.

As for new and exciting. . . birthing classes start tonight!  And I went to the birth center tour yesterday, so things are starting to feel real!

I'm due May 13th (Mothers day!), will be going to a birth center, plan on taking Bradley classes. Water birth is a definite option =] I won't make that decision until labor is in progress.

Update: we are now team pink! All is well and I think she may be a gymnast or a kung fu master.

I have not really bought into any of the OWTs except maybe the heartburn=hair one. And I guess we'll see if this is real when she's born! She should have a ton of hair the way it's going for me.
