DH and my FIL want to take the family out to dinner for my birthday but I'm not sure where to go. I'd like somewhere with great food but kid friendly and a good atmosphere .... in other words, not picky at all ;P

BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse at Tri-County. There is something for everyone on their menu and it's generally loud enough that if the kids are being loud it doesn't disturb the atmosphere.
Might I also toss Red Robin into the ring? We have done many celebratory meals there with just us and Conner but also with my entire extended family. In fact, Chris and I have been known to go even when we don't have Conner.

Red Robin is one of our go-to, kid-friendly places as well. So is Buffalo Wild Wings but I am thinking you might want a little more upscale than that for your birthday, huh?
I like Red Robin for birthdays. PF Changs tends to have that sort of atmosphere with larger groups as well and I think they give custom menus for nut allergies.
I was also trying to think of "local" suggestions for you. I second Betta's in Norwood. We went to Arthur's in Hyde Park for my birthday; Burger Madness appeals to all ages.

I second BJ's-- we go there OFTEN with my parents because it has really yummy food and is kid friendly without being over-the-top kid friendly, kwim? You can still feel like an adult eating out but since it is kinda loud you dont feel bad if your kids arent quiet. Plus the menu is incredibly broad and everything I've gotten there is good-- their kids meals are a GREAT deal too. We get the chicken, broccoli pasta dish for Nicholas every time and it literally lasts him for like 3 more meals which is always nice to have leftovers for lunch the next day :-)
Thanks girls! I forgot about Buca, we love it there but I've been before. Maybe I need to finally give BJ's a try or Maggianos. We hardly go out for dinner so I plan on stuffing my face.

We really like Uno's.. maybe Chi-nati's.
What about family style like Buca or Maggiano's?
