Did you guys handle teething? DS popped out a tooth last week with not much fussing during the day, but a serious increase in night waking.
Now he's onto tooth #2 and it is awful! We're having to keep him dosed on Tylenol and even still he's not sleeping for more than 1.5 hrs at a time.
Not to whine too much, but omg! I had no idea. I was all wishing a little that we could start trying again, and then this... This changed my mind.
[I miss getting a complete REM cycle. I miss it a lot.]
Re: How on Earth...
Honestly I must have a tough kiddo because in the last three weeks we have two teeth and I was clueless they were that close. Just one day... here they are. I can say she has tons and tons of toys in the living room that are teething type toys and we keep crunchy foods around for her to grab... Ie puff, wagon wheels and a sippy cup that always has cold water in it. She chews it more then anything.
Not sure on your kiddo's age but try something they can nibble on like the puff's or wagon wheels, cracker.... might help losen the gums up to allow the tooth through. Also anything cold... take a cloth and get it wet. Put in freezer for about 10 minutes and throw it down with the toys. They will chew on it as well.
