10 DPO. To test or not to test??

Last cycle I tested a little early which resulted in a CP.  I ended up having my period 2 days late.  I'm now 10 days DPO and if this cycle is a bust, AF should arrive Wednesday'ish.  So, do I test today or hold off and save myself the disappointment?

I personally wouldn't test....especially without FMU.  Try to hold out a couple more days!  GL!

I agree. The % of women who actually get a BFP are so low at 10DPO.   I would at least wait until 14DPO to avoid unneccesary heartache packaged in a false BFN.  FX for you!!!

I am a POAS addict,  and both pregnancies, I tested positive at 10 DPO...so I am a bad influence, Test!

If you have enough HPTs & don't mind seeing a BFN, why not? Otherwise I would wait until atleast 12dpo. That's just me.

Don't ask me! I've been testing since 5 DPO, and I'm only 8 DPO.

Although, if you're asking about testing or not to see a c/p or not, I would test. I would want to know if I'm having a C/P every month or not.

FMU is First Morning Urine if I'm not mistaken. I would test if you have enough but thats just because I am a POAS aholic lol

Oh duh. Thanks. Yeah.. don't ask me what you should do. I tested today and I am 10 DPO. I am also expecting AF on Wednesday, but I started spotting yesterday (not sure if its AF or something else (spotted w/my last 2 pregnancies around AF). And yet I still tried to test today, and not even with FMU. Negative obviously. I would say test tomorrow morning with FMU, but like I said, I am probably not the best person to ask.. We will see if I can hold on until Wed or Thurs before I POAS again.

I got my bfp at 10dpo so I would test if I were...BUT since you haven't tested yet today, I would wait until tomorrow so you can use your fmu.

I'd wait till 12dpo at least. I try to wait that long... sometimes i'm not that successful. But especially being this early, always test with FMU.

Wait it out...the chance of testing positive on even the most sensitive HPT at 10 dpo is about 35%. Thank you TTCAL blog for that bit of info

If it was me I wouldn't want to set myself up for the disappointment.
