Kendall is the only spelling that doesn't make me raise an eyebrow. The worst I've ever seen was Kendahl.
Additionally, I would go with the K-e-n beginning because of the pronunciation. I wouldn't want my daughter's name to be Kyndall, like the Amazon Kindle. Yuck.
7 anovulatory cycles, 1 cycle 50 mg clomid, 4 cycles 100mg clomid, HSG double blockage, hysteroscopy with cyst and debris removal, fermara/IUI attempt abandoned because of anovulation, follistim/IUI attempt coming soon!
I guess I'm confused to why people are so rude on this baby names page!? My only question was different ways to spell it. I didn't come here to be treated like Sh*t.
Most of the posts were pretty polite. You asked about a name that has a pretty rock-solid spelling. Made-up spellings open up a big can of worms. If you had asked about unconventional spellings for Kendall, you probably would have gotten the same response.
You could have also gotten stuff like:
"I like Kyindhaal."
"Kalhfklhtpehfnoigjn - pronounced 'Kendall'"
Who cares what a bunch of women on the internet have to say about you? Odds are, you'll never meet any of us so ignore it. Or, if you want to be adult about it, we generally say what people in real life would think if they heard a bad name choice, so think again about a youneek spelling of a name.

And people tried to tell you nicely that there is no other way to spell it. But then you piped up with people make up spelling all the time. No, they don't there is a history and meaning behind the spellings of names. You came on here asking for opinions, you got them, so put your big girl panties on and relax.

Which begs the question - where does one go to be treated like sh*t?
Re: Different ways to spell
um...??
Do you mean Kendall? I wasn't aware there were multiple ways to spell it. I like it, but Kyndall looks stoopid.
Agreed. This is the most mature spelling that will carry her into adulthood well.

I tend to think of Ken doll though.

There is only one spelling: Kendall.

People make up names all the time. It don't really bother me.
Oh really? It don't? Well I guess if it don't bother you. ::headwall::
And man those sparkles are giving me a migraine.
That's probably because you have a poor grasp of the English language.
Do your kid a favor, spell the name correctly, lest everyone KNOW you're an idiot.

Is that because of your fine use of the English language?
I reckon you can go on a fixin' to pick any name you'd a like! I mean it is yer youngin'.
Well if it don't really bother you then that's fine. Where did you learn to talk English so good?

What have I typed that made you think something is wrong with my English??
You wrote "it don't really bother me". Proper English would have been "It doesn't really bother me".
OHHHH..MY BAD!
"It DON'T really bother me" was the tip off.
Had you said "it doesn't really bother me" no one would question your English grammatical skills, just your choice of baby names.
Kindle?
I think Kendall is the only legit way, sorry.
If you don't want to hear the answer, then don't ask the question.
I have to agree with this

This was my immediate thought also.
This.
