Is Beatrice a terrible name, or is it cute?  I can't decide.

Also, I think I really like Genevieve (Gennie for short?). 

Am I losing it today, or are either (or both) of these names cute?

Beatrice is a perfectly nice name - but it's a name that I will always associate with old ladies.  My great aunt is Aunt Bea and is 90 years old has her hair dyed jet black and wears hot pink lipstick.  And that's what I picture in my head when I hear Beatrice. 

I absolutely love Genevieve.

I think both names are cute.

I prefer Beatrix (I think it's sassier), and I prefer the nicknames GiGi or Evie or Vie to Gennie, but I really like both names and think they're good choices.

I love Beatrice and in Brazil is spelled Beatriz which I guess changes everything

Really like Genevieve but hate Gennie well to be honest I hate all NNs

I like Beatrice but not Genevieve.  Of course the only Genevieve I know is BSC, which is definitely the problem.

I like Beatrice, love Genevieve, and find Gennie (or any spelling thereof) to be dated and therefore nms.

Absolutely love Genevieve, have never liked Beatrice.
