TTC after Mirena

My Mirena is being removed Wednesday and my husband and I are VERY eager to get pregnant quickly as this will be his first child!!!!!! How long does it take to get preggers after having Mirena removed? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

    My OB recommended waiting for 2 periods before TTC- just to ensure the uterine lining was built back up and the hormones were gone.

    How long it takes you to get pregnant isn't something anyone can answer, obviously.

    My sister in law and I both had our Mirenas removed at the beginning of May.  She's five months pregnant and I'm on cycle six.

    I had mine removed March 15th, got my first period on March 17th and found out I was pregnant on April 17th. It can happen really fast or take a while depending on your body. Good luck to you!
