Trying to wait til Wednesday to test

Hi all,

As you may remember I had some home HCG confusion last week.  My serum HCG was negative on Thursday, so my RE thinks the home HCGs were either picking up lingering trigger shot or they were defective.  Great.  So I'm on day 29 and POAS this morning which was negative.  I'm trying so hard to stay optimistic that I might still get a BFP this cycle.  I didn't get a positive until day 31 with my pregnancy earlier this year, so I'm still holding out hope.  I feel pretty premenstrual though (got a big zit today and am really bloated), but I'm trying to convince myself that these may also be early pregnancy symptoms.  Oh how I wish I had a crystal ball and could just end all this uncertainty.  Anyway, thanks for listening and good luck to all.

    The waiting, not-knowing and second guessing sucks. I know. I had uncharacteristic spotting on day 14, 4 days after a +OPK, so now I'm wondering if it was implantation or ovulation spotting. Of course, I'm hoping against hope that it was implantation so that I can avoid another treatment cycle. This whole TTC situation is maddening, especially when I think that in February we will have been at it for 3 years. Sigh. I wish I had a crystal ball too. Good luck. I hope you get a BFP on day 31.

    If you find the crystal ball PLEASE pass it this way - hopefully you will share with all of us. How wonderful would that be - I for one would love just knowing for sure if any of this will work. But alas that is not the case and instead we have to just keep hoping and praying knowing that others are hoping and praying for us Smile. GL!
