If you have been to Sesame Place

Do you have a hotel that you would recommend?  We are hoping to go for the Christmas thing after Thanksgiving (Friday to Sunday).  Anything else you can recommend in the area?  I am so excited, but I think it is going to be crazy!

We went, but stayed with my college roomate who lives in PA.  We did the Crayola Factory also (right near where my friend lives), which she really liked and is in to crayons, but I don't know that I would have driven out of the way to go to it.  Maybe plug it in to mapquest and see if it is along your route - you don't spend much time there, but you could stop and do the Crayola Factory and eat nearby and then head on your way.  It is in Easton, PA.

As far as Sesame Place, the only thing I wish we did was buy the magic rider pass.  I think it was called Abby Cadabby or something.  (I'm assuming the rides are still going unless it is a big storm, right?).  It would have been perfect for us, bc dd was under 2, so we could have bought it only for dh to take her on rides and not wait in line.  $30 for not waiting in the long lines in the heat and sun would have been worth it.  I don't know if you would have to buy two though and if the lines are still crazy long in the winter.  If your dd will go on with your ds, and neither of you have to go on with her, then maybe you could just get 1 for ds, and your dd should be free being under 2.

We went to Sesame Place over the summer and stayed at the Hyatt Place in Princeton.  LOVED this hotel and the location.  We did a package deal though so I'm not sure if our hotel room was one of their regular rooms or a suite.  It seemed more like a suite.  The set-up was so convenient for having kids.  There was a kitchenette area and a little sitting area.  It was great.  And very friendly staff.  The park was about a 12 minute drive from the hotel....not bad at all.  And Princeton is so nice!  I wish we had more time there.
