usually I give my daughter a bottle at 7 and she's asleep by 8. Not tonight! She will not relax and keeps hitting me with Sophie. Where did this energy come from?!

That's too funny.  I am the other way around.  I am usually still trying to get my LO to sleep by this time, but he has been asleep since 7:30.

This has been us for the last two nights! It was after 11 last night before she was down. We're on our way to a repeat performance tonight, I'm afraid.

I am not a CIO kind of mom, but on nights like this, I lay DD in her crib and let her cry/scream for 2-3 minutes to get out the energy, then go back in and rock her to sleep like normal, then she goes down peacefully. Works every time. (although this doesnt happen too often)
