I think my BF is coming to an end

I have been struggling with supply ever since DS was born, so I tried Domperidone (hated the side effects and didn't notice enough of an increase), I take Fenugreek every day and drink lactation teas as well as copious amounts of water each day. DS started daycare last week and I've been pumping while I'm at work, but it seem that as soon as DS comes home at the end of the day that all he does is nurse non stop until the next morning when I drop him off again.

Before Daycare he would get around 4 ounces of formula a day, today he ended up getting 8 ounces of formula as well as nursing non stop...

I think I'll be happy if I can last BF until he's five months, but with the rate that my supply is decreasing I don't think I can do it much longer. It was nice though to have the special bonding time with him though that I didn't get with DS #1 (he was tongue tied and didn't latch)

You've given your LO over 4 months of BM!!  That's a great start.  I'm also in the process of weaning (different reasons) so I know how tough it can be.

I'm dealing with supply issues too. I'm getting close to that point if things don't turn around. I haven't tried the domperidone, that may be a last resort. My Dr suggested getting lots of protein in addition to water and the protein seems to be helping more than the fenugreek and teas. I am trying hard to look at the bright side, at least I was able to with DD since I wasn't able to do it with DS.
