Halloween - Warning....

Are you ladies going to pass out candy? I know last year we had a handful of parents with toddles while holding infants at our door.

Just a warning that you "could" be setting yourself up for tears and hurt. The first year I broke down on 2-3 different occasions. Just thought I would throw that out there...

    Halloween starts a whole mess of holidays and dates I want no part of this year.  I was 38 weeks pregnant with Adam last year.  If it wasn't for DD, I think I'd hide from now until January.

    Hugs to all.  We are planning to pass out candy but we have an insanely long driveway and didn't get any trick or treaters last year.  I'll take my chances this year.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    Ugh... Halloween is the start to all the holidays I am dreading this year. I'm going to attempt to hang out at a friend's house where there will be lots of kids passing by. I don't know how long I'll be able to handle it. As for the rest of the holidays, as of now, I'm not planning to take part this year. It'll kill me too much. Good luck ladies... Hugs to all.

    I have always hated the holidays because something bad happens every year. I thought it very ironic that I would have an X-Mas baby (December 19). I finally thought that I would have good holidays. Now I am right back to hating holidays. 
    Avery Alexander Napaluch born sleeping October 24, 2011 at 32 weeks.
    He was 4lbs. 9oz. and 17&1/2in. He was absolute perfection.

    I will do what I did last year, I dress up my dog and make her answer the door with me. But after an hour or so, or if I see twins I'm done for the night and make dh get up to hand out candy. I'm hoping to miss a good part of it since I'm working.

    Nope, we're not passing out candy. We did it last year and it was really hard, so we'll just be turning the lights off and watching movies or something.

    We did not pass out candy last year. We had all the lights turned off and watch stupid tv all night.

    Halloween was exactly three months after Mary died. It sucked, I will be honest. I think I got drunk and stayed inside with my friends.
