Mastitis...ugh!

So, last night I suddenly got sever chills and I just couldn't get warm, I thought it was the start of the flu, but worse.  My boobs had been hurting and I thought it was a clogged duct but come to find out it was mastitis.  I was throwing up every 10 minutes, severe headache, really weak, terrible, i probably have never been this sick in my life!!  So, luckily the doc called in an antibiotic and an anti nausea pill.  Has anyone else had mastitis and did your supply tank?  I think I am noticing a major decrease in my supply and I am starting to worry.  Should I start with the fenugreek?  Also, the hubs just asked if I wanted a glass of wine and after last night I am still a little queasy so I don't think I even want one but does that also decrease your supply?

Wow 2 nights ago my breast was hard but I didn't think anything of it. Then I go to bed and nothing can warm me up. I fell asleep but after the 2nd feeding I was going back to bed and the chills came back full force with a 103 fever.

 I've never had to flu, but I hope to God I never get it if it's anything like mastitis! I started the antibiotics yesterday and I had another fever today but nowhere as bad.

 I'm worried too that this may decrease my supply considering I've already been on domperidone once.

My supply dipped on the infected side when I had mastitis. It rebounded within a week or so. Just keep resting, nursing, and drinking lots of water. Eating oatmeal is also a natural way to boost your supply. If you're not feeling significantly better 24 hrs after being on the antibiotics, you need to let your dr know.
