more about baby food...

i saw a whole lotta posts about baby food the other day, but i don't know if it wasn't discussed or i missed it, but...

what kind of food are you guys making and freezing now? i have a pumpkin a squash and some plums and apples i'm making today, i think, what have you made/frozen so far?

I also made some peas and carrots.  I just used what I had in my fridge.  I think I made pears as well.

I bought butternut squash and apples that were on sale for 99 cents a lb. Also some pears... if I dont eat them all I will make them into baby food. I figure thats what I will do with a lot of produce. It always seems to go ripe on me too fast - who can eat 6 pears in 2 days?! LOL

For now I pretty much plan on taking advantage of seasonal sales.

sorry to sound clueless but all our babies are around the same ages...is it practical to start making/freezing baby food?? does it store that well for months?

I thought the storage time was 30 days in the freezer?
