My grandpa passed away.

Today is my daughter's 9th birthday and he passed away this morning.  We found out yesterday that he hadn't been eating or drinking for a few days and we had plans to go visit him today and bring the girls to school late, and go to work late.  We were just up and getting ready to leave when I got the call from my mom that he passed.  I feel bad that we haven't visited him for a while.  He was always asleep when we'd call to see if we could visit or not.  I'm glad my dad got to go see him yesterday, even though he was sleeping the whole time.  My mom, grandma, brothers, DH and I and the girls haven't seen him for months.  I'm glad he's not suffering anymore, but I really wish he had been healthy enough to see our son.
