I need help/ opinions

I have had supply issues since ds was born partly because he had younger tie we didn't realize until 7 weeks and because I have pcos. I get about 2-3 oz when I pump every 2.5 -3 hrs at work. We supplement with formula after his 7 pm nursing and to his daycare bottles. I want to try to up my supply this weekend. Is it safe to do a nurse-in wiith him? If he is still hungry I'd be able to tell right? He seems to be satisfied after eating and will be smiling. He does sleep at the breast sometimes, bu he always has even  while supplementing. I'm just nervous to just nurse and not supplement this weekend. Any feedback?

Btw he is 15weeks.

2-3 oz every 2-3 hours sounds about right. BF babies are supposed to take about 24-25 oz per day, so one oz per hour seems right. Give it a shot, if he's happy don't supplement. Even if he seems fussy at first, try some other soothing techniques first to make sure that he really is still hungry.
