Currently I am nursing in the am then pumping once at work then nursing when I return home from work then again at bedtime. So a total of 4 times a day. I nursing her during my regular pumping session when I am home. I HATE pumping & want to eliminate it. I am a teacher & it's super inconvenient especially when my students need help during lunch. I am only getting 2-3 ozs in 12-15 minutes anyway. My question is has anyone else had a baby who only ate off one side & did an odd number of feedings a day? I am concerned that I will totally throw my body off if I am feeding off a different side each morning & night as opposed to now when it's the right in the am then pump left then right at home & left at night. Hopefully that all made sense!
Re: Only feeding on one side & weaning
That's what I am planning on doing, but I am wondering if my body will be able to adjust since it will be continually switching feeding times.
