I'm just looking for advice or your experiences. DD is 9 months and I haven't seen AF yet but we've decided to stop preventing and try for #2. My bfing experience has been a little rocky but also good. I never recovered from a supply drop when she was 4 months old so she gets a little bit of formula to supplement plus solids three times a day. I'm still planning to bf until she is 1 year even though I'm not providing all of her milk.
I guess I'm just surprised that I haven't seen AF yet and wondering if anyone else has been in this situation or if you successfully conceived while bfing. TIA ![]()
Re: Anyone bfing and TTC?
There are lots of people in your shoes. If you scroll through the past couple of pages of posts on this board, there are several people who've said here that they are TTC before their first PP AF.
You will ovulate before you get your first AF, so it's definitely possible to catch that egg and not have a period. If you really want to try to catch that one, I'd consider charting so you know when you're approaching ovulation. The book Taking Charge of Your Fertility has a great chapter on PP fertility that will help. GL!
