5 weeks post m/c - so bloated

My m/c started 5 weeks ago today, and I still feel VERY bloated, like uncomfortable sitting in my sweats bloated. My beta 10 days ago was at 5, so I don't think the bloating is because of leftover pregnancy hormones. I did bleed for about 2.5 weeks with the m/c and was on an antibiotic for the first week of bleeding. I also just went through a week of bleeding which my ob said to consider as AF since my beta was basically negative the last time it was checked. Just wondering if anyone else felt bloated like this or if I may have some sort of infection from the m/c? Or is it possible for tissue or something to still be left in my uterus even though my betas went down? I know no one can really tell me what's going on, and I'm kicking myself for not calling the doctor this week; definitely will be doing that on Monday. (sorry no paragraphs - I'm on my phone as DH is on the laptop)

I hope someone jumps in and corrects me if I am wrong, but I always thought once the beta reaches 0 (or what most would consider 0, which is 5 or less) that means all the remains of the pregnancy were gone.  

Since you were on antibiotics I'm guessing it's not an infection.  Did you and your husband wait two weeks after the m/c to have sex again?  I know some have said two weeks from the beginning of bleeding, but I took it from my doctor as 2 weeks from the END of bleeding, so I may be more on the conservative side, but having sex too soon can significantly increase your risk of infection.

I checked your chart and saw your just finished bleeding from AF.  Based on my last m/c experience, I would guess maybe it's residual AF symptoms.  My first AF after my last loss I experienced heightened PMS/ AF symptoms.  Also, I see you O near CD 16.  Have you taken OPKs?  It's possible you may be Oing soon.  I always bloat near O.

Thanks for your response!  It calms me down a little about the possibility of infection or having anything leftover. 

We haven't had sex at all since the m/c - I thought the same thing - that we should wait 2 weeks from when I stopped bleeding, and I only had about 10 days of no bleeding. 

I agree with you to about maybe Oing soon.  I took an OPK this morning for the first time this cycle and it's negative, but will keep taking them and see.

If you're still feeling uncomfortable by Monday with no +OPK yet, I would call your doctor, just for piece of mind!  After my first m/c, I felt O symptoms a little, but after this last m/c, I can feel everything!  Everyone's different, but one this is for sure, m/c can definitely change up your cycles.
