Have you made your own diapers?

I was in my local Joann's the other day and I noticed that they now have a CD section with PUL, Aplix, plastic snaps, and pattern books.  The PUL is so cute it tempts me to try to make my own diapers.  Have any of you ever tried the diapers out of this book?

I make my own. I just used diapers that I had bought that I liked and used them as a pattern. Are they perfect? No, but they keep poop and pee in!

Diapers are really fun to make.  You can google for free patterns (I like Rita's Rump to start) and use re-purposed materials for diapers.  Old towels, flannel receiving blankets, fleece blankets and microfiber towels make great free, fitted diapers.  If you want to get fancy, check out Make.Laugh.Love for lots of great tutorials (most of the content of the book at JoAnne was taken from that website).

Someone just posted last week that the JoAnn PUL and the Babyville PUL has a tendency to delaminate. I was disappointed because I had just made 2 pail liners out of it. Just a heads up.

My wetbag made from joanns PUL is working fine but the person that said it was delaminating also said they have two brands and the joann brand was the bad one and the other was fine not sure what one I bought.  so far i have only made a few fitteds they work but it's a lot of work to make the ones I like

Have you had problems yet?  I tested mine pretty well and didn't have problems.
