DH works with a Phallon. For the longest time I thought he was referring to her by her last name when he'd talk about her, lol. I don't like it, to me it's not feminine at all.

Yucky. I'm with PPs in that it sounds like phallus. Even if it didn't, it's really masculine for a little girl and makes a horrible sound.

I've met two girls named Fallon before. One was an eight-yr-old brat I used to live around the corner from (I call her this b/c she and her friends drew a very explicit stick figure on my back porch in sidewalk chalk while my sister, who was 3 at the time, was playing out there) and the other was a girl in my high school journalism class, who said she wanted to be a porn star when the teacher asked her what her career goals were -_-
My mom was a Dynasty fan, and I'm an 80's baby, so that's where it came from.
I have only met a handful of other Fallon's before, and I like it that way. I like it better than a common name, but that's because it's all I've ever known.
I personally think it's very feminine

Totally get that, but for me, it's made my life easier for when people are like, what? Spell that? All I have to say is, Fallon, like Jimmy Fallon, and they get it :-)

Re: Fallon for a girl?
Dislike.
And Phallon? What an especially unfortunate name for a girl. Were her parents unfamiliar with the word phallus?

I detest this name.
Me too - and popular. I think she was president of her class.
All I can think of is Fallon from Dynasty back in the 80's.
I don't hate it but I wouldn't ever use it.
