I asked G to write a blog for Alice for her birthday.  And he did.

Before he sent it to me he said that I was going to cry when I read it.

I started an ugly cry after reading the damn title.  I bawled all yesterday afternoon because I couldn't stop reading it.

Anyway, I wanted to AW it, because he's never written a blog post before, and I think its beautiful.  Link in sig.

OMG! That is priceless.  He is very honest with the way most parents feel.  We love to have the "freedom" sometimes but in all honesty, we can't wait to get back home to our family.  I love it.  A is going to treasure this post when she is old enought to read it and when she is old enough to fully understand.  Happy Birthday A!!

granted I've had several adult beverages tonight and tend to cry easily... but really, sweet A, is one lucky little girl.  I can't stop crying.
