Little girl name

What do you guys think of the name Emmy? I like it as a nickname for when she is little, but what do you think would be a good full name that would go well for her as an adult? We are on team green and I just came across this name. I obviously have something for the -emy ending (I like the name Remy as well) Not sure how trendy that is...

It's an adorable nickname, but it won't age well at all.  Imagine seeing "Emmy" on a business card - I would definitely assume that was a nickname and I wasn't dealing with a very professional person, or company.

Eeek... Emmy isn't a given name.  It's a nickname.  Go for Emily, Emma, Emmeline, etc. and then call her Emmy.

My friend has a little girl named Remie. I think it is cute. OP, I'm not a huge fan of Emmy - but would do it as a nn for Emmeline or something.

Emmalyn - love love love this name

As far as Remy goes, one of my friends named thier little boy Remmington, and his nn is Remi. He's freaking adorable, and I love that name... too bad she got to it first

This will probably get flamed but I love Emmy short for Emerson. We are team green too and it is a contender if we have a girl.

I really love Emmeline for a girl.. like PP I too adore Emerson with nn Emmy as well     I know Remy is traditionally a boys name but I personally find it feminine and would prefer it for a girl

Emmy makes me think of Emmy Rossum whose full name I believe is Emmanuelle.

My little girls name will be Emmalyn. If we ever shorten it, it will be shortened to Emmy

I love Emmy as a nn and I have a friend named Emily that I call Emmy.  I would not use it as a full name though.

It's also a boy's name in France.

Olivia Wilde's character on House is named Remy, but they mostly call her by her nickname, 13.  If you don't watch the show, the nickname is kind of a long story.

I dislike Emmy,and don't really like any of the full names it would be used for,with the exception of Gemma.

And Remy is definitely a boy's name(that I like).

The only full names I like with a nickname Emmy would be Emily or Emma.
