Train table?

We are planning on buying my 5 yr old and 2.5 yr old a train table for xmas.We are thinking of getting the step 2 table where u can put a cover on and play on top also.Does anyone have this table or do u think they would grow out of too quickly and would just be better off getting a regular train table?Anyone have one that the kids love?Thanks!!!

I got the regular Thomas one and it's been fine.  I got it off CL so that was a savings too.  I think it's a good idea provided your kids will put the stuff away so they CAN play on top.

We got DS the one you are talking about 2 years ago. He loves it and still plays with it!
