Skipping bf/pumping?

I'm going out with friends tomorrow and will miss nursing my DD twice.  I've been nursing and pumping for 9 months.  (Hubby giving her two bottles isn't a problem.)  Can I skip pumping twice?  I skipped one session before but never two in a row. Thoughts?

Skipping an occasional feeding never caused supply issues for me but I would be worried about engorgement with skipping two in a row.  It might not be an issue since your LO is older but you may want to have a pump with in case you get really uncomfortable.  Expressing by hand would be an option too if you don't mind wasting a little milk.

Thanks. That's my worry too. I've gotten clogs before just skipping one feeding and not pumping.  Hand expressing is a good idea.  I appreciate the help!

On Monday, thanks to a combo of meetings, rushing to the airport, and then sitting on the plane for literally hours waiting to take off, I went from 6 am to 3:30 without pumping.  I definitely needed to pump by the end, but I wasn't super uncomfortable and my supply seems none the worse for it.  I think it's only one day, it won't make too much difference.
