Kinda Nervous... Scheduled Surgery for DD

I finally got in touch with the scheduling nurse for pediatric surgery for DD. She has a hernia (that is getting a little bigger each week) on her belly. Unfortunately, it is too far away from her belly button to have the surgery laparoscopically so the doctor will have to make a vertical incision next to the hernia. 

I was doing fine since this is minor, outpatient surgery and the doctor said she will be up and running around the next day. BUT now that I have actually scheduled the surgery (for the beginning of December). I am getting nervous! I'm sure everything will be fine and I will keep praying about it, but I know it will be hard to see LO in the hospital.

Has anyone else's LO been through surgery under the age of 2?

Mitchell had a circumcision revision a week after his 2nd birthday. I was a nervous wreck but all turned out well. If you will be at Children's Hospital, you'll be in good hands as will your LO. The staff there is amazing, from administrative to the doctors.

I'm sorry.  I know it's scarey.  Bri had  outpatient surgery back in June.  I was a nervous wreck too.  I'll keep ya'll in my thoughts and prayers.
